App and website privacy

This page covers the Proper Poker iPhone and iPad beta and the public preview website.

Updated September 16, 2026.

The interactive demo

The chip counter and sample table run in your browser. We do not send their entries to a server, save them between visits or create an account for you. Your motion preference and selected sample table skin are saved on this device so you do not need to choose them again; these preferences contain no game records. The reports and app screens on this website use illustrative data.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not include third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from this website.

Hosting

The website is hosted on DreamHost. The web server may keep standard access and security logs, including an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to serve and maintain the site.

Email enquiries

Contact links open your own email app. If you send an enquiry, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond. Do not include passwords, private player records or payment credentials in an enquiry.

App accounts and shared records

Supabase provides account sign-in, the app database and private photo storage. The app sends your email and password to Supabase for authentication. Session tokens are saved in the device Keychain so you can stay signed in. We use account identity and access records to manage workspace membership, licenses and account security.

Organizers and approved operators can record names, player preferences, staff roles, venue addresses, game notes, chip counts, financial entries and payment references. These records are linked to their workspace and synchronized between its authorized operators. They may include information about people who do not have an app login. Enter only information you are authorized to keep and share with that workspace. Do not enter card numbers, bank credentials, crypto wallet secrets or passwords in game notes.

Who can access app records

Workspace permissions control access to shared records and photos. Authorized operators can review their workspace's books, including retained transaction versions and the user and time associated with changes. Platform administration controls accounts and access. Service providers process records to run the app; authorized service administrators may access data when needed for support, maintenance or security. Records are not published on this website.

Photos and device storage

You choose whether to attach a photo from the camera or photo picker. Attachments are stored with the game records and uploaded to private workspace storage. The app also keeps local copies of books and downloaded photos on signed-in devices. Signing out or deleting the app does not delete the shared workspace's server records. Protect devices that have access to your games.

Reports and recovery files

PDF reports and recovery exports are created when an operator requests them. You choose their destination through the system share sheet. Exported files may contain personal and financial information; recovery files can also include photos and are not password encrypted by the app. Anyone who receives an exported file may be able to read it. Save and share them only with appropriate recipients.

Retention and requests

Game records are retained for workspace history and reconciliation. Corrections preserve the original transaction and an audit trail. To request access, correction, export or deletion of your account or personal information, contact jasone89@gmail.com and identify the relevant workspace. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the organizer before acting, particularly where a record also belongs to other participants. Closing an account does not automatically erase a shared accounting record.

App diagnostics and communications

The beta has no advertising tracker or third-party AI analysis of game records. Supabase and the hosting services may keep operational and security logs. Apple may provide TestFlight crash reports, usage information and feedback according to your device and TestFlight settings. DreamHost email is used for account confirmation and recovery messages. Optional dealer and payment reminders use device notifications; this beta does not deliver remote game invitations by push notification.
